Fear of rejection

Fear of rejection

I went looking for your shadow

as does the sun

sad as the night away

to see him as much love

Crossed by deep sea

in heavens high

Surrounding villages and valleys

because like you, no

I opened the book of my life

the pages were filled

I suffered with it full of sorrow

and fell to his knees nailed

I raised my eyes to heaven

got a little look

although he was vague stance

seems to beg

and suddenly, I prayed

What? How? Why?

Even the river, I am clear

But I know, and callus

that love is ageless

lack of conscience and evil

I speak as fools do

I do as I say, your shadow

then do it yourself

but fear, fear little

I fear the greatest pain

rejection, the same as someone

degenerate without measures

the few joys that are

to it, yes, my short life
