Market your RSS feed with Microsoft Windows Live


"RSS" stands for "Really Simple Syndication". And this is exactly what ... a great way for content publishers (including you) to distribute content for free.

Over the last year can not have escaped those RSS buttons all over the internet, invites you to sign for owners of web sites RSS feed (s)

Apple, Microsoft, CNN, BBC, even the local pet store owner uses these RSS buttons on their website.

With Internet Explorer 7, which now contains a built in "RSS reader" complete with a button that turns orange when it detects RSS feeds on a web page - RSS is great news for Internet Marketing.

Among the popular RSS buttons seen all over the Internet are those with Yahoo and MSN brand on them. Just click on one of these RSS buttons and if you are treated either with My Yahoo! (http://my.yahoo.com) or My MSN (http://my.msn.com) you can instantly add RSS site eating your account - Nice and simple.

Well, the growing Microsoft Windows Live "service" has the same thing and with millions of users of the service Live.com, providing your RSS feed subscription as a button is a real breeze!

... Simply click on the Windows Live button on the left and right and see it in action. At the time of writing this article does not even need an account with Live.com see it working.

Clicking on the Windows Live RSS see the "Newsletter UpdateXP.com" RSS feed added to the Live.com site.

Just click on one of the news as "[]" link and you'll start with grace on the screen - no new window opens.

Now check the option "Send to a friend" - powerful viral marketing for your website with one click.

Why should I?

As I mentioned RSS is a great free tool to promote your site, blog or newsletter.

But Microsoft has a market of literally tens of millions of users. Now, with each user of Microsoft Windows Live services (including: Live Messenger, Live Mail, Live Search, Live Local, etc. ..) is encouraged to create a free personalized Live.com home page, combined with massive investments in Live. com and the Goliath that is Microsoft's marketing machine, this is a marketing tool without your site can not afford to ignore.
