Persuasion What to do with your brain?
"The existence of forgetting has never been proved: We only know that some things do not come to mind when we want." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
You know the feeling, it's frustrating, it's annoying, and perhaps a bit 'awkward. And 'that feeling of having something on the tip of the tongue, something that once knew, but no longer do, something, perhaps as simple as the three branches of the U.S. government or anniversary (which you can put in the kennel) or name of a business associate or client that you have worked with a few '(yikes!).
It happens to the best of us ... our cognitive abilities seem to diminish with the years march on. But this is something that is a fact? Or we can reduce or prevent the 'highs (even if they are elderly) who try to cause us not use our brains and allowing them to be all they can be?
Some people keep their brains agile with crosswords or sudoku (if you prefer to go it alone), or games like Scrabble, if they like the social aspect. These are all great activities "aerobic exercise" the brain.
Studies have shown that older adults neither see, hear, taste, feeling as accurately as younger do and this is partly due to the fact that people in retirement, they tend to do things that are good, things that do not incredibly challenging them. So the key to keep your brain agile is yielding new, different activities and problems to challenge him.
There are also biochemical reactions that are vital to stimulate the mind and challenging people to continue learning. When we are young we have the freshness of everything, a novelty in unexplored that keeps us engaged in the learning process. The other thing we have going for us, that when you're a kid is a great motivator, is the concept of being rewarded for what we do.
This brings me to the conviction (what you do not bring me to persuasion?) And how, through the study of persuasion, not just you watch them in your business and financial life, but it is increasing brain power and ability to remember.
In studying such things as the 36 Chinese stratagems, or 24 ports of Magical Objection Mastery, we decline, ranging from macro to micro. It can be thought of as addressing the problems with a telescope, a broad overview, and then either take a microscope and really hashing the details.
What are you doing this? And why is it so hard? And 'challenges us to use different parts of our brain. We're getting to see an issue or problem or opposition from a number of angles. It is nice that this has the added advantage of keeping the mind agile and accessible our memories? ......
