Online Business Ethics

Very simple: to be a source of integrity. Do not be hypocritical, people know, and do not come to visit your site again. Even worse, they send a negative review somewhere on the web and others will not even come and see for yourself. If you do not know something, do not pretend you do. Respect your customers or potential customers, and offer them something of value. Giving good information, which will attract the attention of your customers and this will help build trust. It also gives them a reason to stay or come back more. Follow up with your customers, but not being a pest. Basically, no spam, no stealing and lying.

Just like a business online, there are ethics and standards that should be followed. If you start an online business, you've probably spent some 'time online and can already see that there are hundreds of thousands of companies trying to sell their products and services and information to you. Studying how they do it. Spend some time browsing the websites of your competitors, just as you would when preparing a business plan for a business offline. Look for and evaluate the following characteristics to determine the integrity of the business as a whole:

What are they selling? The first time they are in their index page, you can quickly and easily understand what they are selling? This is a real product, an information product, a service or a subscription? Do not offer something of real value right off the bat for free as an ebook or informative content related? If you can not determine within the first 30 seconds what they're selling or why they are in the business world, it is likely that only a bunch of links put together to make the revenue affiliate owner. However, if you see something of value, to be a bit 'longer and further consideration.

You can contact them directly? Look on the main page. Contact information may be in the top navigation bar, navigation bar on the side or bottom of the page. Also, try a direct connection as us. Click on this link and see where it takes you. They do not provide a physical address, a contact name or e-mail and a phone number? These three things are a must for a legitimate business. If an owner is not sure enough to put a business address and contact phone number on his site, he must be hiding something. The final test is to send an e-mail to the company and see who responds and how long it takes to get a response. The majority of sole proprietorships web should be able to answer your email within 1-2 business days.

The content of the correct value and? One of my biggest pet peeves is spelling and grammar. If the owner has done his research and knows what he's talking about, should show the quality of information on its website. A professional image depends on attention to detail. The presentation is everything. If you intend to put the information must be presented in an orderly manner, with no errors. When I see more than a misspelled word or grammatical error on a website or page, go ahead. If the owner has not reviewed the material and just checked the information on its website is accurate and presented professionally, I will not be confident that its products are much higher quality.

Is there a free trial or warranty on the products and services offered? Those companies that have developed a quality product or service and we are confident it will not hesitate to put a guarantee on it. They are behind 100%. Even better are those companies that allow you to try your product or service for free. In this way you can try to see if it's really what you need and meets the quality standards of a legitimate business.

How do you advertise? Look at the other links on the site. Visit some of them to see the quality of partners associated with the business first. Avoid shortcuts you take many important and useful? It is the business in partnership with other legitimate businesses? Also, how did you discover the site, in the first place and what in their ad that you designed? Perhaps the announcement lie to you? Make sure when it was announced that not misrepresent what you are offering. Also, do not be a spammer. Make sure you develop a double opt-in mailing list which you can use to send follow-up valuable information for your customers. This will help build loyalty as well as word of mouth referrals. Visit the forum and pay-per-click sites to see the companies that advertise the same products and services you are going to find out what methods of promotion that you are using. Use them as a starting point and try to set your standards of quality and honesty when you develop a step above your ads.

The bottom line is, there's good and bad karma. Even though we all know those people in life whose bad karma has not reached them yet, do not join the crowd. Being a leader, be a source of integrity, and provide a quality product or service that you can stand behind. In the long run, this will help you build a profitable, long-time business rather than a fly-by-night get rich quick scheme .......
