Must be mastered Fear to Succeed
When we talk about fear, almost everyone agrees, which is the main enemy for a person to be happy and achieve success. With good reason, Scottish writer and historian Thomas Carlyle, in the nineteenth century, said that "the first duty of every person is to master the fear."
Without fear of contradiction, could say that everyone at some point in our lives we've had some fear of an unknown situation.
Fear is a feeling of uneasiness caused by a real or imagined danger, it is a distressing mood disturbance risk or harm by a real or imaginary or apprehension or suspicion that someone has something happens contrary to what you want.
Fear is not harmful in itself because it is a reaction that humans have and animals to a hazard. The problem is when this fear becomes irrational it can sometimes cause imbalances and prevent development.
There are all kinds of fears, including fear of change, fear of failure, fear of defeat, fear of job loss, fear of poverty, fear of criticism or what to say, fear of rejection, fear of poor health , fear of ceasing to be loved, fear of loneliness, fear of old age, fear of flying, fear of death, fear of the future, fear of risk, fear of success, fear of happiness, etc..
Fear can be very destructive and can make it very difficult personal relationships. Fear can paralyze the reasoning and motivation to prevent its beneficial effects have to achieve personal development. When a person is afraid it is likely that pessimism is what predominates preventing observe the reality of the situation. A fearful person is unable to resolve the problems that may arise. Fear slowly destroys self-esteem, undermines enthusiasm and precludes creativity.
Fear is the enemy of success and happiness. It can make us suspicious, selfish, insecure and may even make us feel weak and unwilling.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the only person who has been elected four times to the U.S. presidency in his first inaugural address as President in 1932, said: "I have the firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. "
To achieve what we set in life we must master fear. It is practically normal to have a certain fear reaction or fear of danger or in an unexpected situation or unknown. Stress that you have before taking an exam, going to a job interview before speaking in public, for example, is a normal reaction to something that is important to us. What is vital is that this reaction must be mastered quickly. We must face the fear with calm determination, absolute confidence, courage, firmness and decision.
The great American philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson said: "Do the things over which they have fear and death of fear is certain."
With a positive mental attitude, confidence, optimism, determination and courage can overcome the fears they may have. Confront your fears without hesitation as submitted and they will disappear. By overcoming the fear we will be able to realize our goals and achieve personal self to achieve success and happiness.
